One Colorado Education Fund will host its signature fundraising event — The Ally Awards — as an in-person and online event on Friday, November 12th, 2021 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver. The evening will culminate in an awards presentation to allies who work to advance equality and make a substantive difference in the lives of LGBTQ Coloradans. The evening will kick off with a cocktail party with a hosted bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Guests will then move to the Four Seasons ballroom and attendees will enjoy an awards ceremony with special guest speakers, delectable desserts, and champagne.

This year, we will also be creating a virtual space to honor the past decade of progress for LGBTQ Coloradans and their families. You have been a part of our movement every step of the way and our team will be offering an unforgettable opportunity to connect as a community while we honor our allies who have worked to advance equality and make a substantive difference in the lives of LGBTQ Coloradans.

As you’re preparing for the event, here are a few details you might want to know

We understand that the pandemic has hit some folks harder than others and we want to have the chance to lift everyone’s spirits by giving them access to the Ally Awards livestream, regardless of their ability to donate. When you register with or without donating, you help increase our impact by demonstrating our power in numbers. If you’re able to donate, you can receive an Ally Awards care package and other perks! When you register, you will be added as a guest to the 2020 Ally Awards. As we get closer to the event, guests will receive the link to the Ally Awards Livestream, which will be broadcast on YouTube and One Colorado’s Facebook page.

Registration for the 2020 Virtual Ally Awards will remain open until the event begins at 12:00PM on Saturday, September 26th.

If you register to have an Ally Awards care package delivered, they will begin shipping on September 14th and you should expect to receive them the week of the 21st.

If you register to pick up your Ally Awards care package, they will available for pick up at locations TBD starting September 21st.

A more detailed schedule of the program will be included in care packages and shared to guests via email before the event.

There will be an official Ally Awards party after the ceremony!

This is a festive brunch party, so feel free to dress up or dress comfortable! Attendees will not be visible on the Livestream.
