Educators, Joining the Fight Against Bullying with Colorado Gay-Straight Alliances

One Colorado Education Fund — the organization that launched the Colorado GSA Network — has developed a resource guide for educators who want to learn how to combat bullying and harassment against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning students.

That’s So Gay: Ending Bullying and Harassment Against LGBT Students in Colorado Schools seeks to be a resource for educators, parents, and community members who are committed to addressing the pervasive problem of bullying and harassment in Colorado schools.

The guide provides information on the nature of bullying, and suggests practical tips and best practices for effectively addressing peer-to-peer harassment in schools throughout the state.

This resource guide was created by One Colorado Education Fund with the assistance of the state’s leading education organizations, including the Colorado Association of School Executives, the Colorado Education Association, and the American Federation of Teachers—Colorado.
