How Colorado Nonprofits Can Engage in Elections (9/18)

Please join Alliance for Justice’s Bolder Advocacy program and One Colorado for discussion about best practices for how 501(c)(3)s, 501(c)(4)s, 501(c)(5)s, and PACs can engage collaboratively during elections. This event will feature keynote addresses from Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser and Colorado State Representative Leslie Herod, followed by a panel with One Colorado, Bolder Advocacy, the Colorado AFL-CIO, and local attorney Martha Tierney.

One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) Coloradans and their families. We are working together for a fair and just Colorado.

Founded in 1979, Alliance for Justice is a national alliance of more than 130 organizations dedicated to advancing justice and democracy. AFJ created the Bolder Advocacy program to demystify the rules surrounding advocacy and promote more active engagement in the democratic process by giving nonprofits and foundations the confidence to advocate effectively within the limits of the law.
