Ethan Reed


Ethan is a rising senior at Legend high school in Parker, Colorado, and a youth political activist who serves to represent the young people in his community on both the state and local levels as he serves on several other youth organizations for both the state and locally in Douglas County.

Ethan is mostly known for his work on championing a bill through the Colorado legislature in 2020 that would have allowed mental health days an option for youth across the state to be marked excused from due to mental health reasons; he was also featured in The Washington Post and NBC News too! His experience with the LGBTQ+ community is serving as vice president of a GSA club back in middle school and also advocating for ongoing LGBTQ+ bills to further help benefit and support the entire community. He is openly gay and very friendly so be sure to reach out to him – Ethan’s pronouns are he/him/his!
