Sierra Lloyd

Sierra Lloyd is a junior at Fruita Monument High School on the Western Slope of Colorado. She first started working in LGBT+ advocacy in 2018, when she joined her school’s GSA. Through that club, Sierra and the GSA’s other members fought for the rights of transgender and GNC students in their school, presenting to their district’s school board in the summer of 2019. Now the head of her high school’s GSA, Sierra is continuing the work of the previous school year in securing equal-access to gender-segregated facilities for students in her district. As a part of the GSA Leadership Counsel, Sierra is looking forward to working with One Colorado to make Colorado schools safer, more welcoming spaces for LGBT+ students.
