Meredith Gleitz is the Policy Manager for One Colorado.

Meredith’s career spans the private, public, and non-profit sectors. After moving to Colorado in 2018 from Quito, Ecuador, where she served as a Peace Corps volunteer, Meredith dove into Colorado’s organizing scene. She has been an electoral organizer, a legislative aide at the Colorado State Capitol, and a member of the Colorado House Majority Caucus’ legislative staff, specializing in community outreach. During Meredith’s time at the Capitol, she witnessed numerous advancements in rights for LGBTQ Coloradans that continue to inspire her to believe in the power of community-led advocacy and public policy.

Before joining One Colorado, Meredith worked at an immigration technology startup, where she expanded the company’s legal services to Spanish-speaking clients across Latin America. Meredith graduated in 2016 from Texas A&M University, where she studied International Studies and Spanish, published research on the political representation of women in Latin America, and ran for Texas A&M’s cross country and track and field teams.

Meredith identifies as LGBTQ and is passionate about social justice, building community, and learning from others. She is also an avid climber and nature enthusiast who loves exploring the Rocky Mountains!
