No on Proposition 131
Proposition 131, "Top-Four Ranked-Choice Voting Initiative," would make confusing and hasty changes to our voting system. The proposition promises to solve partisan divisions in Colorado’s elections, but have resulted in voter confusion, decreases in voter participation and manipulation of the primary results in other states.
No on Amendment 80
Amendment 80, "Constitutional Right to School Choice," will will make it harder to fund improvements to public schools, which serve 95% of Colorado students, to fund private schools.
Yes on Ballot Issue 2Q
Ballot issue 2Q, will help Denver Health cover costs for patients who cannot pay bills, largely due to a lack of health insurance, by raising Denver sales tax by 0.34%,
Yes on Proposition KK
Proposition KK, "Tax on Firearms," will raise funding for mental and behavioral health programs for children and veterans by placing a modest excise tax on guns, precursor parts, and ammunition sold by dealers and manufacturers in Colorado.
Yes on Amendment 79
Amendment 79, "Right to Abortion," will create a right to abortion in the state constitution and allow the use of public funds for abortion.
