“My goal is to lead with love and respect for the human condition. I believe the reason we are on this earth is to protect each other and advocate for the most vulnerable. We all have the right to be seen and heard and in this past year, our beautiful communities have risked their own lives to let the world fully see the impact of inequality and injustice. One Colorado has been a leader in ensuring LGBTQIA Coloradans can live with dignity and respect and I am excited and ready to lead One Colorado in creating systematic, equitable change for the future.”
- Nadine Bridges, Incoming Executive Director, One Colorado
“Over the last two decades, Nadine has demonstrated great passion and leadership to meet the needs of LGBTQ Coloradans and our families. Nadine is the perfect fit to lead One Colorado into its next chapter, as we continue to create a more inclusive LGBTQ movement that centers racial, political, social, and economic justice. Over One Colorado’s past 10 years, Colorado has made remarkable strides, becoming one of the leading states for LGBTQ rights. Today, LGBTQ Coloradans have legal protections and opportunities that were once unimaginable – but we know the work is not done. If this past year has shown us anything, it’s exposed the many disparities and inequities embedded within our society. We know there has never been a more important time for a dedicated and intersectional leader, and the Board is confident Nadine will seize the opportunity to strive for a fair and just Colorado.”
