Denver, CO – As the state’s leading advocacy organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) Coloradans and their families, One Colorado is honored to be representing our community as a grand marshal in the 2022 Denver Pride Parade! We’ll be in excellent company alongside the 2022 grand marshal contingent including Dragutante, Black Pride Colorado, and Womxn’s March Denver. In a recent statement, The Center on Colfax, which produces and hosts Denver PrideFest, shared:

“The four organizations were chosen to lead the parade on the strength of their unwavering commitment to community engagement and empowerment efforts. Each organization is dedicated to inclusion and equal recognition of the populations they serve, efforts that are consistent with this year’s Together with Pride PrideFest theme.”This month, The One Colorado team has had an incredible time celebrating Prides across Colorado,” said Nadine Bridges, One Colorado Executive Director (she, her, hers). “It is amazing to see so much happiness and joy being displayed from Durango to Colorado Springs, to Erie, to Adams County, and we still have more to go! We are proud to be the leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in the state and this weekend after 2 years, we are representing as one of the grand marshals for Denver Pride. It’s going to be an amazing weekend full of love, rebellion, and community. Happy Pride y’all!!!!”

Denver Pride Weekend with One Colorado – June 25-26, 2022

Our team and volunteers will host a One Colorado booth on Sponsor Row during the two-day PrideFest at Civic Center Park. Find us under the One Colorado tent to learn more about our work across the state and how to get involved! Saturday evening, One Colorado hosts our signature Pride event, the Pink Party at Tracks Yard from 6-10pm. Pink Party is Denver Pride Weekend's largest dance party fundraiser to support pro-equality candidates across Colorado. This year’s guest speakers include State Representative Leslie Herod, US Senators Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper, and Governor Jared Polis. We'll also have performances by Kiki House of Flora and Ximena Latinx. You don't want to miss this fantastic line-up! All tickets for folks above 21+ include entry to the Pink Party, an open bar, and entry to Tracks for the afterparty. Proceeds support One Colorado's electoral efforts in 2022, where we will be hard at work to make sure that the voices of the LGBTQ+ community, especially the most vulnerable among us, are heard.

Sunday following the Pride Parade, join One Colorado and The Center for the Pride Rally at the West Steps of the Colorado Capitol from 12:30-1pm! Alongside One Colorado’s Executive Director Nadine Bridges, we are excited to welcome State Representative Leslie Herod, Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, and a few phenomenal LGBTQ+ youth activists to join our speaker line-up for this year’s rally. Pride is protest –  join us to show up and be heard!
