Yesterday, as Senator Steadman was introducing a bill to create civil unions in the state, One Colorado, cupid, and a wonderful group of volunteers were running around the Capitol delivering more than 1,000 special Valentine’s Day messages to our elected officials.

In the spirit of this annual day of love, we asked our legislators to support all loving families, including LGBT families, and we left them with 1,000 handwritten notes from many of you. Some of you asked our elected officials to “protect all families this Valentine’s Day.” Others asked explicitly for support for civil unions. Resoundingly, our message is that we all share ONE Love.A number of local media outlets joined us for our delivery, and we’ve included some of the links to their stories below. Enjoy!‍
